Katarina has been invited to hold a solo art exhibition at the Corban & Blair Window Gallery (2 Victoria Street, Lewisham, NSW, Australia), her third at the Gallery with a set of paintings celebrating glass.

‘In this exhibition I explore the beauty of glass from shimmering translucence to glossy opaque,’ explains Katarina, ‘a process akin to capturing a moonbeam for a precious moment, and often just as difficult. The interplay of shadows and reflections dancing with colour provide depth and volume for the glass. My purpose is to create paintings that are both delicate and powerful for quiet contemplation and enjoyment.’ 

This exhibition runs from 14 November to 7 December 2023. These original acrylic paintings on canvas, which vary in size from 25×20 to 30×30 cm, are available for sale. Contact: info@corbanblair.com.au
