Katarina is excited to be invited for a fifth time to hold a solo exhibition at the Corban & Blair Window Gallery (2 Victoria Street, Lewisham, NSW, Australia) presenting a set of themed paintings about Balance.

As Katarina explains: ‘A Question of Balance as a theme first emerged in my art in 2022 with the painting Balancing Pears, an analogy of how we keep our lives in balance. In 2024, I took a deeper look at the challenges of achieving balance in our pressured lives exploring how to express this through the lens of still life in compositions using fruit, ceramics and fabric as players in the act of balance, sometimes meditative, whimsical, precarious or shifting. In this way the purpose of this exhibition is to capture the possibilities of balance however fleeting for the viewer contemplate.’

This exhibition runs from 20 November to 17 January 2025. These original acrylic paintings on canvas, which vary in size from 30×40.5 cm to 40.5×40.5 cm, are available for sale.
